William F. Connell Golf House
and Museum
Norton, MA
The building is 100% stick
framed – no panels, floor trusses or roof trusses were used. The
second floor has a radius wall of approximately 42’ in length. The
museum’s gable wall was 30’ tall framed with 7¼” LVL 8” on center
balloon framed and had to be lifted with a crane.
White Cedar
shingle siding with weaved corners and bracket details were used on
the exterior of the building. A large two-story radius stairwell
with cone roof stands out in the front of the building |
